Sims 2 Pets
- When all the sims in a household die and leave behind a pet, after a short while, the adoption agency will come and pick the pet(s) up. But if you leave the lot (and save) before that happens, it seems that you may end up with a household that only has pet(s) in it. Then you could merge a family from the Families bin into the household and keep playing with that pet.
- Need help playing an all pets family? Unable to play a family that doesn’t have enough money to buy a house or lot? When I first got the Sims 2 Pets expansion, I could not figure out how to play the Crittur family (an all-pets family) which only had a small amount of money. I don’t know when this feature became available, but in the neighborhood screen you can ‘merge’ a family from the families bin with an already moved in household. Just select the family you want to move in, and click on an already moved-in family/household. They will be combined!
